Many still struggle with the ‘not so simple act of apologising’

Editor-in-Chief of Stellar Magazine Sarrah Le Marquand says it seems there are still plenty of people who struggle with the “not so simple act of apologising”.

“Look no further than the prime minister, who is refusing to venture those five little letters to Christine Holgate after needlessly raging against her in parliament late last year,” Ms Le Marquand said.

“Few among us would be unfamiliar with hurt pride that can act as a barrier to saying sorry even when we know we are in the wrong”.

“But that struggle is precisely what makes a sincere apology so powerful – if it was easy then it wouldn’t mean so much.”
